Committees
Continuing Legal EducationThis committee is primarily responsible for organizing the educational programs for our membership. The speakers come from a collaboration with other members. All members are encouraged to take advantage of the expertise and knowledge of our guest speakers. Meetings provide an excellent opportunity to network with other members, and gives everyone a chance to socialize. FundraisingIn addition, to benefiting the Chester County community, the CCPA raises funds to cover the cost of educational programs and seminars, and various member activities. In November 2003, the CCPA donated $5,000.00 of the proceeds from our fall fundraising event to the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County, Inc. In 2004, we matched the previous year's donation with a Silent Auction to benefit Legal Aid of Southern Chester County. Our cookbooks, Cooking with Legal Ease and Cooking with Appeal are available at the cost of $12.00 each from any member of the committee.
