About...
The Chester County Paralegal Association held its organizational meeting
on January 28, 1992. Membership in the Association is open to those paralegals
with a certificate or who are pursuing a course of study in the paralegal
profession. See Application below.

Benefits and Activities
Committees - Members may participate in the following committees:
- Continuing Legal Education Committee will coordinate continuing
legal education seminars designed to increase paralegal knowledge and skills.
In addition, the committee will keep members advised of upcoming legal
education courses and programs in Chester County and vicinity.
- Membership Committee will solicit new members and sponsor
membership drives.
- Newsletter Committee will publish a bi-monthly publication,
The Paralegal Pipeline, to keep members informed of upcoming activities,
events and developments in the law and the paralegal profession.
- Pro Bono Committee will provide opportunities to volunteer paralegal
skills and services to legal and social agencies in need of same.
- Fundraising Committee raises funds for various purposes, including
representation and participation in such other educational and social activities
as the board may approve; and for charitable donations.
- Publicity Committee advertises the Chester County Paralegal
Association? events and functions.
- Job Bank Committee maintains a list of available employment opportunities.
