2021 Paralegal Studies Scholarship

The pandemic doesn't stop a future paralegal! CCPA is proud to announce Samantha Kornecki as the recipient of the 2021 Paralegal Studies Scholarship.
Sammi is enrolled in the Paralegal Studies Program at Delaware County Community College (DCCC). A recent graduate of West Chester University with a degree in History, Sammi currently works in the Chester County Clerk of Courts office. She's particularly interested in employment law and the possibilities of legal work in the Theatre and Fashion Industries.
CCPA presented Sammi with the $1,000 scholarship award to be used for tuition, books, or other costs associated with her DCCC paralegal program participation. We wish her the best, and are happy to welcome her to the paralegal profession!
Since 2009, CCPA has awarded an annual scholarship to deserving individuals enrolled in paralegal certificate and degree programs. Visit our Committees section to see a list of past recipients.
Don Bristol elected NFPA Region IV Director
October 2020
CCPA's own Donald P. Bristol, RP, Pa.C.P., was elected to a two-year term as Region IV Director at the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) at its annual convention and policy meeting. Don has been a long-time member of CCPA, and is a past CCPA President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, as well as the CLE Coordinator and Website/Publicity Coordinator.
The Region IV Director is responsible for helping local associations in Delaware, Maryland, new Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia. Region Directors are the main liaison between member associations and other NFPA Board members.

2020 Paralegal Studies Scholarship

At the annual CCPA Holiday Party (held at Duling Kurtz Restaurant in Exton, PA on December 5, 2019), CCPA awarded the 2020 Paralegal Studies Scholarship to Brittlea Keith. Brittlea joined us for the dinner with her sister, Jade.
Brittlea is a student at Peirce College enrolled in the paralegal program.
CCPA President Luci Givonetti, Pa.C.P., on behalf of Scholarship Chair Maureen O'Hara, Pa.C.P., present Brittlea with a check in the amount of $1,000.00.
